On the invitation of Dr. Gomolemo Moshoeu , Chief Executive of South Africa Judicial Education Institute, Ms. Mahrukh Aziz Director General PJA and Ms. Jazeela Aslam Director Program/academic attended the Train-the Trainer (TTT)Workshop for judicial educators in Environmental Law from 26th June to 28th June 2017, at Johannesburg SA. Dr. Moshoeu had participated in the Lahore Roundtable of Judicial Academies organized by the Punjab Judicial Academy in May, 2107. Prior to that Hon’ble Justice Ali Baqar Najafi along with Rai Muhammad Khan, Sr. Instructor PJA had participated in the Colloquium of African countries on Integrating Environmental Law training in South Africa. The aforementioned TTT workshop was, therefore, in continuation of that colloquium. Heads and representatives of judicial education institutes, with contributions from superior court judges and participants from Pakistan and Nepal attended the Workshop. The sessions in Johannesburg aimed to develop skills and enhance knowledge on how to design, prepare and deliver environmental law training curricula in different jurisdictions.
